THE RIVER ROOM
The River Room offers a romantic canopy bed. It has a private sitting area for guests to enjoy peek-a-boo views of the Columbia River as well as an electric fireplace for ambiance and warmth.
THE BELL ROOM
Available as an add on to The River Room when traveling with companions.

THE GARDEN ROOM
The Garden Room is a peaceful oasis, tucked away in the back of our home. We have intentionally selected the pale blue color palette and minimalist decor so our guests can fully relax, rest, meditate and renew their spirit.
BREAKFAST
Mornings greet our guests with a roaring fire in the parlor and the scent of fresh coffee wafting up the stairs. We offer a complimentary vegetarian breakfast which includes a pastry, an egg dish and fresh seasonal fruit.

Ivy House is TV free. Instead, we offer our Vinyl Room with books, board games, and cards. It also has an electric fireplace and we will bring you herbal tea upon request.
Each guest room has an electric fireplace for heat and ambience.
We offer our hot tub by appointment so guests may soak in peace and private. Complimentary robes and a warmed towel are included in the experience.
Our 1901 clawfoot tub is available by reservation for a private soak. We want you to relax. On request we will light a candle, provide scented eucalyptus bath salt and provide herbal tea to help you sleep.
Ivy House is located near downtown Astoria and is easily walkable to desirable landmarks, pubs, restaurants and theaters.
THINGS TO KNOW
•Meet Sidney! We have a professionally trained diabetes alert dog. Sidney can detect high and low glucose as well as retrieve equipment and medications. Sidney is confined to our private quarters and never allowed in guest areas. He is not permitted to interact with guests as he needs to be focused exclusively on his job. For this reason we respectfully request that you do not bring animals with you. The presence of other furry friends may interfere with his ability to perform his job.
•Our Rodent Response and Prevention Officer, Mike. As a consideration to guests with allergies, and wanting to keep furniture nice, Mike is confined to non-guest areas of our home. He is obscenely friendly and perfectly willing to visit, though we realize that you might be looking for a vacation away from your own children and pets and probably don’t want to be smothered by ours. If you desire a visit with Mike, we are happy to make an introduction.
•As Astoria frequently experiences rain, and we want to keep our floors clean, we appreciate when guests remove their shoes.
•The upstairs bathroom is shared. It has a lock, can be reserved for a private soak in the tub, and we have measures in place to ensure it is kept at a high level of sanitation at all times. Your personal hand towels will match the color of your room and are changed daily. Surfaces are cleaned with a bleach solution multiple times per day.
•Ivy House is best suited to accommodate guests aged 12 and older.
•While we do not have a kosher certification, we do keep a kosher kitchen as it is our personal habit.
•We prefer a quiet and restful ambiance. For this reason, there is no television. We provide WiFi, books, magazines, and an old fashioned, turntable with records.
•Due to my husband's asthma, we respectfully ask that you do not smoke or vape on the property.
•Arrival time is between 4-5pm. We greet each guest and welcome them personally. If your schedule does not allow you to arrive during this time, we may be able to accommodate a different arrival with proper notice.
